To be able to interact with CEO's or top management from big corporations in twitter or facebook to get your message accross is a surefire effective way to attract and retain customers and that's the power of social networking sites.

But for most corporation, their main goal in joining social networking sites is to interact with users to finding out what their likes and dislikes to be able to move forward for a better product or service.
